Ginger, I'm certain we are related as well.As a matter of fact, when I originally did this research some 15 years ago (without the aid of the internet!) I became pretty convinced that all Passaro's and Passero's had a family connection. The name is so uncommon and the Catholic/Italian families had SO many children.Tom Passaro, who posted here as well, shares a relative with me.His paternal grandfather is my paternal great grandfather.(Alphonse Passaro, son of Petro-who first immigrated and was the source of the spelling change)
I DO have lists of the the children of the first (Petro) and second (Gennaro, Alphonse, Viacenza, and others) generations. But unfortunately they were packed up and put in storage after a house fire last year. The information is still there, I just need to get to it.I'm swamped with work for the next week or so, but I'm inspired to dig it out as soon as possible. There may be a Blanche on the list, but I honestly don't remember. Also, many of the Italian names were "Americanized" to similar names....like Viacenza became Jennifer...Petro became Peter.
What is the name of your husband's father? If Gennaro was your husband's uncle then there is definately a connection as Gennaro is my great great uncle.
