The name "Paschal" appears in the DACUS fanily in 1789, when William T. and Nancy Rutledge Dacus name a son William Paschal. Over the next century, numerous Dacus descendants, including some not directly in the above line, have named children Paschal...and later, Pascal.

We, several, Dacus researchers do not have an explanation for this. Can anyone connect the lines? It would answer some big questions! And, of course, we can gladly fill you in on the Dacus line.
