Hi Lesa - thanks for your note. We have basically completed our research, and the book is in the writing and editing phase. We have taken our Family Tree Maker program, and
are editing the various descendant reports to make 30 chapters of the book to cover the branches of the family. We have over 5700 descendants of Zacharias Partenheimer, Sr.,
spanning 17 generations and going back to the mid-1500's. During the next few months as
we complete the editing we will be able and
happy to add any additional input.
The ancestry you describe for Nancy Jane Parthemore is nearly correct, but you have the last two generations reversed. Johann Heinrich Partenheimer was b. 16 Apr 1666 in Braunweiler, and the name was changed to Parthemer by local pronunciation when they went to Sprendlingen. His son was Johann Friedrich Parthemer, b. 9 Oct 1702 in Sprendlingen, and it was his family which emigrated to America in 1744. The name
was there changed to Parthemore, but not
consistently, so various branches of the
family descendants have used both names.
I have some questions for you and Lillie about Nancy Jane and your linage, and I hope you will contact me directly by E-mail at
firstname.lastname@example.org Best regards,
Walt and Gail (Partenheimer) Jebens
