Hey, George Washington Parton and Sariah Little are the parents of my great grandmother, Mary Emma Parton. I had previously found them in the 1900 Perry County, Tennessee Census. After receiving your follow up, I had noticed that dates in your family Bible exactly matches the dates on that census. Also you stated that they are buried, at Church Grove Cemetary in Dyer County. I know for certain that this cemetary is located in Newbern in Dyer County. I looked in Dyer County Tennessee 1910 and 1920 Census records and also located them there.
George and Sariah had the following 9 children: Ida, Mary Emma, James B., Lena, Doshia, Maude M., Mattie Lee, Willie B., and Virgil. I know a little about this family of what I've been told by my family and my aunt will be sending me some old pictures of this family very soon.
I could never get beyond George W. Parton and thanks to what you had posted I plan to research more on his parents and siblings. I will keep you informed on what I find.
