Berniece, My Lewis is yours also. He was the son of James Partee and Deborah Hall. Alot of the info I have on him I received from Carol, she is an unending font of info about the Partee family. She wrote:
Lewis Partee and his family lived in Bourbon Co, KY from 1790 to 1793 moving to Livingston Co, KY before 1800. The family then moved to Arkansas Territory (a portion of which later became Rocky Bayou Twp in Izard Co) in 1814. Lewis Partee served in Kentucky militia, Capt. James Lanier's Co. of Volunteers from Bourbon Co., in 1793. Her source: American Militia in the Frontier Wars 1790-1796, p. 19 lists Pertee, Lewis, Copy furnished by Robert Ullrich. Hope this helps. Janet
