HOLY CROW WE'RE FAMILY! I know those names! I met murray when i was like 10 or 11 I think...if i'm not mistaken, he came to memphis on a motorcycle to visit when my family and i were there for our annual vacation. ok, maybe i was older than that...who knows...wow...never thought i'd talk to someone that i was related to...guess that was a ridiculous thought on my part! I haven't heard anything about aunt rose but i haven't talked to my dad yet. i just sent him an email.
I somewhat recognize the name Janice...though not sure why. And Mattie Edmunds...I had done some light research and I think that was a name I came up with but wasn't really sure why. Where did they come to the US from? I know so little about them. My grandfather was very young when they died and from what I was told Aunt Rose was the only one that was really old enough to remember anything. When I was little she would show me pictures of them but I don't really remember her telling me anything about them (although i'm sure she did). I haven't seen her in so long i'd love to know where she is. And i'd love to know anything you do about the family. It's a big mystery on our side I guess because we lived so far away, and papa didnt really know much more. Funny how families from those times never really talked about things. This is so fascinating...
