Terri --
I don't have any additional information on James Parshall and Hannah Knapp. They are not in my family's direct line of descent. However, have you checked out that website I mentioned in an earlier message? It's www.my-ged.com/db/page/draper/03775. It seems to be a current site and it also lists Hannah as born in Fishkill, NY, although it says 1743. There is someone you can send questions to.
I do have additional information on other family members. Israel and Bethia Parshall's children were: James, Israel (my husband's ancestor),Phineas, Benjamin, Jesse, Delilah, Bethiah, Jemima Parshall. There may be another child that I don't have a name for. I do not have additional information on these children.
They were in New York state for a long time. Several Parshalls living in New York, served in the American Revolution. There are Parshalls documented in DAR lineage books. Last year ancestry.com had a database available concerning an Abstact of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots. There was a James Parshall, identified as being buried in Middlefield Cemetary, Otsego Co., NY. I DO NOT know if it was the same James Parshall you're looking for.
Sometime in the early 1800s, my Parshalls moved westward and settled in Michigan, but I know others stayed behind. There are Civil War databases that identify Parshalls in both Michigan and New York (and I'm sure other locations also).
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Stephanie
