Believe I found her then...the Cottage Grove did it...she;s in the 1880 census, Tenn., Henry co; with George Parish age 28 born Tennessee,
wife, Holland age 36fw born NC
Gillie daughter age 5 born Tenn.
Sarah daughter 2f born Tennessee
John T. son 1mw Tn.
Winnie mother 69fw NC NC......
The Heritage Quest index has her listed as Lillie...but the actual census is a messed up written over "G"....so really believe it's her.....
I started with the 1860 and 1870 census for Henry co.....just to see which Parish families were there... and there were only two...John T. Parish born in NC living in Cottage Grove.....and a W.W. Parish living in Hagerville......in 1870 John T. is still in Cottage Grove....and George W. is 17 yr. old... bet his marriage license is in Henry co.... will see if I can find it....
In 1860 there is a Sarah Todd 86f born NC living in John T.'s household...does not identify her as what relative if any...
So if this is her...then her father was George W., her grandfather was John T. Parish....swill check and post again.
