Belle Vedra Parris Crawford made application # 38370 for funds provided to Easter Cherokees by Act of Congress approved Jund 30, 1906. She was rejected because "it does not appear that any ancestor was ever on rolls; nor does it appear that any ancestor ever resided with the Cherokee domain; nor was any ancestor a party to the treaties of 1835-36 or 1846". These records are available on www.footnote.com/image/222318277. In her application she list her father as L. V. Crawford and her mother as Phoeby L. Parris of Fannin county Georgia. Siblings included Martha, Dora, Willie, Ellen & Jula. Grandparents were listed as Trammells and Parris.

I have also found record #26781 for Sarah Jane Parris Crawford which was also rejected for the same unverifiable reasons. Sarah Jane listed her father as Nathan Parris and her mother as Elizabeth Trammell Parris. Siblings to Sarah Jane were listed as Noah, Bob, Jeff, Pheoby, Mimia and Elizabeth.
