Some went to South Africa some went to good old U.S.A. Great State of Virginia. I found some more in Maine. What dose this got to do with the Paris,Parris Parish and Parrish???
Glad you ask. From South Africa there is a ship Listing
all the Huguenots one has the surname Paris all so in Maine there was a James Paris all so called James Perry ( I know I got the same name) I belive that some of us Paris are of French Decent.
I just start studying the Huguenots. This is only a few week studing and if it were not for the History chan. I would have never look at the Huguenots and my love for history and Church History.
One more thing Huguenots were not to go in to Catholic Place LOUISIANA TERRITORY AQFTER 1803 thy could have been killed. Yes there are Paris in Louisiana Territory put thy should be of Catholic decent the one on the east coast are Protestant. but we all know how people movie.
