Indeed Nathan PARRIS was 1st sherif of Fannin Co, GA. However, I show different lineage for the following:

-Emeline PARRIS b 1859 mar Gilbert R Ross;
-Mary PARRIS b abt 1861;
-Willie PARRIS b abt 1863;
son John PARRIS also mar Nancy Jane THORNTON and had children
-Samantha "Manti" b abt 1867 mar Rufus Daniel ROSS
-Edward PARRIS b abt 1870 mar Ester Elvia "Elvie" INGRAM
-Triphena "Phenia" PARRIS b abt 1872
