Your James D. Parriott 1880-1948, of Denver, CO was a brother of my husbands maternal Grandmother Myrtle (Parriott) Fletcher, they are the children of Rev. George Wilson Parriott & Jane (Clark) Parriott, who also had Lucy D. (Parriott) Smith, Vandiver H. "Van" Parriott, Charles H. Parriott, & Foster Brooks Parriott. I have several group pictures of the six issue of Rev. George Wilson Parriott.
