I don't know how much help I can be but my Grandfather's name is Salvator Parrino and his wife is Erminia or "Minney" Parrino. They were known as "Minney and Doc". They were originaly from Palermo, Sicily and came to the U.S. in the early 1900's. First residing in Florida then here in St. Louis on Daggett Street on "The Hill". I'm not sure where the "Doc" came from as a nick name.

They had 2 kids Charles Parrino (my father) and Marie Parrino (King).
