Still looking for the parents of Joseph Parrett (Parrott) or other spellings.
According to best information, Joseph was born in NC ca 1807. He married Middy Perry, daughter of Burwell and Polly (Abbott) Perry, August 1834.
The last census I found them on was in 1870. They were in Johnson County, Illinois.
I believe that Joseph and Middy are buried in the Parrott cemetery north of Rosiclaire, IL. I have visited the cemetery and there is a concrete stone inscribed "JP" and one inscribed "MP". In this cemetery is a stone for George Parrott who was the son of Joseph and Middy.
Anyone who has information regarding the ancestors of this Joseph Parrott is welcome to contact me and I will gladly exchange any information that I have.
