My greatgrandfather was a Parra from Delicias, Chihuahua. He was married to a woman who was at least part- & maybe full-blooded Mexican indian. Their daughter, my grandmother Mary Parra, was born in Delicias in about 1910. they moved to El Paso, Texas in 1917 to avoid the Mexican Revolution. My greatgrandfather had worked for the Chihuahua Railroad & was mad that everyone kept blowing it up during the Revolution. he later helped build the railroad from Arizona out to California. He is buried in Madera, California, where I was born. If any of this sounds familiar to you I would love to talk to you. Gracias.
