Alice,

As far as I know, this is not my Parr family. Nevertheless, have searched for parents of Samuel Parr, as yet unsuccessful. His father may have come from Kentucky or Ohio - but I have no proof to offer.

My Parr line has DNA proof matching a sixth cousin with an eighteenth century MCRA. We have a paper trail to the seventeenth century.

I thought for a few years that this Samuel Parr might fit into my tree -- but nothing. Both Parr families are in the same area at the same time.

I do believe there are four and possibily five biologically unrelated Parr lines in Indiana in the nineteenth century.
