Hi,
I am a researcher working for a descendant of Samuel Parr and Malinda Skaggs! I am at a loss to where to go next. I have noticed that Samuel Parr was living next door to Henry Skaggs in the 1855 Illinois state Census. In 1910, there were still there in Jasper County. My client has the record of their death. She plans to go to Illinois this summer to see if she can get a death certificate of Samuel.
Do you think this may shed some light on his parents, or have you folks checked this one ? Hope to hear from you..
