Thank you for your quick reply! The Census records tell different places for the birth of my Samuel Parr..one says Indiana and one says Ohio. I was hoping someone from that area would know something about the family. In a State Census I found Henry and Nancy Skaggs living next door to Samuel and Malinda..but no other Parr's in the area. I figure he must have left all family somewhere else, or he was orphaned or something. The one Samuel Parr, from England, has a lot written about him, and even pictures. But he is the wrong one for this line.
