PARLEE info needed - Saint John Co., NB - WW1 and earlier

I'm doing research into my wife's family (her paternal g -grandmother was a Parlee), and though I have looked through all the msgs on the board - I don't quite see anything that can help - yet!

Here's what we know:

G-grandmother Parlee:

Lillian May Parlee (27 Dec 1891 - death unknown), was a daughter of John Nelson Parlee (c. 1866 - 29 Sep 1901) and Charlotte Alfretta Brewer / Brower (c.1867 - death unknown).

Lillian's parents married on 1 Jul 1890, and we believe had at least 2 other children: Woodworth Nelson (31 Oct 1894 - death unknown) and John Nelson Jr. (17 May 1902 - 5 Aug 1904).

Lillian married an Edward Robert Morton (went by Robert) on Oct. 3. 1911, and he was born c. Sept 26, 1888, to (we believe) Edward Alfred Gossil Morton and Harriet Hannah (Perkins) Morton.

We have been told that Robert died in WW1, and the only Robert listed in the war memorials that could be ours is the following:

ROBERT MORTON
who died on June 2, 1916.
Military Service:
Service Number: 418479
Force: Army
Regiment: Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regiment)
Unit: 42nd Bn.

We were further told that Lillian had married twice, and lost both husbands in the war. We assume that since she married Robert in 1911, he was her first husband - but we have no info on the 2nd husband.

My wife and I would love to confirm some of the data we have, as well as add to it as much as possible! We in turn could swap some more current info about Robert and Lillian's family (provided info on living individuals is kept for private use only).

Any help is appreciated - thanks in advance,
Chris Tanner
