Edgar Samuel Parks, born 1877 in Perry, Monroe Co., Indiana. Parents William W. and Mary A. Parks. He worked for the railroad and was known as "Pumper" Parks. He married Mollie R. Wood of Ben Wheeler, Van Zandt Co., TX. They lived in Clifton, Bosque Co., tX from 1900 until their deaths. They had 2 daughters, Katherine L. (Katie L.) Parks, born 1899 and Eddie (Edwina?) Parks, born 1905.
Pumper died at the old Santa Fe Hospital in Temple, Bell Co., TX in 1956. Mollie lived to be 107 and died 1985 (born 1878). Eddie was a girls coach at Clifton High Scool for many years. She had been married to a ____Martin, but was either widowed or divorced, no children. Katie L. married _______? and had at least one daughter, called "Sunshine", which may have been a nickname. I can find no information on Katie, after she left Clifton. Mollie, Pumper and Eddie are all buried in a Clifton Cemetery. Do you have any information on the family that you can share?
