A search on Ancestry.com "Family Trees" Shows George b. 1797 North Carolina, descends from: Samuel Parks 1759-1846 and Phoebe Haley 1760-1873; Samuel Parks b. 1734 and Lavina; Samuel Parks b. 1714 and Mary North; Thomas Parks 1670-1761

You should contact Ken Parks: kenparks@earthlink.net He is running The Parks DNA Project. Find a close male "Parks" cousin and share in the cost of the test. He can also put you in touch with others researching this line of Thomas.

I've been tracing only those that have taken the test and we haven't had anyone from "Samuel Parks and Mary North" yet. So you can be the first. Phyllis Moore is our Thomas Parks Lineage leader and she only gets to Samuel Parks and Phoebe. You can be very helpful on this line.
