Hi Terry -

I have traced the line as follows:

REL (Lee) Parks (1887 - 1935) m. Judith Little
he was the son of
Dr. John M Parks (1855 - 1940) m. Harriette Parker
he was the son of
Robert C Parks (1830 - 1914) m. Sophronia (Kennard or Kendrick)
he was the son of
George Parks (abt 1797 - abt 1861) m. Sarah Douthit.

Looks like at one point George and Robert lived in Illinois.
