You will need more proof than just the book stating that he served in the Revolution, unless the book was one that listed the PA patriots in the Revolution - PA has a set of several books that list the patriots. But books on genealogy that mention Recolutionary War service in general are not acceptable, even if it lists the company - it is up to you to find that service record and prove it. Have you tried the National Archives to see if he had a pension record, bounty land warrant or even a military record? If Ezekiel has not been proven for DAR, you will have to provide beyond a reasonable doubt he is your ancestor and he fought as a patriot.
