I found your information very helpful. My GGGrandmother Rebecca Whitaker Mckinney was either the sister or mother of Emilie Catherine Whitaker Parkey and I had been trying to figure out why Rebecca and children were in Denton, Tx for the 1880 Census. Now I know that she went there because Emily was there. FYI apparently Lydia Parkey did not die before 1877 because she appears with here husband and children in the 1880 Census Precinct 5, Denton, Tx.
