Hi Dan,

I know this must sound odd but I have been doing some family research and I just found your posting. My great-grandmother was Mariachristina Pecoraro. She was born in AltaVilla Milicia but I think she was married in Bagheria and probably lived there for some time. Her mother and father were Angela Carollo and Giacomo Pecoraro, both born in Bagheria. Much like your family, Mariachristina and her husband, Domenico Carollo, both immigrated to Chicago (they came at the end of the 19th century). I am wondering if any of this sounds familiar?

Take care, Karen
