Hi Cindy,

I don't know the exact year of my grandfather's birth. 1928-1930 seems a bit too late. However, I think I read in another post that your family once lived in Ladd, IL? My grandfather was born in Ladd, IL, as well, and later moved to Chicago. Also, now that I think about it a bit more, I think my grandfather was the first of the children born in America, but had older siblings. My parents have my great-grant parents' documents from when they immigrated, and my grandfather was not listed as one of their children.
