Hello Alfred-
I've found a couple of things that I still can't connect to my line, maybe they connect to yours:A Catarina Parisi,b.May 8,1862 in Aragona,Agrigento,Sicily(I know this person goes in my line, but I can't find any more info on a possible marriage, and I can't find the ancestral link. She was from the same small town as the rest of my Parisi's)father was Biagio Parisi(b.abt1840)mother was Marianne Licata.I can't find marriage info, but, not far away a Salvatore Vecchio was born(b.Oct.28,1860,in Porto Empedocle,Agrigento,Sicily)father was Giuseppe Vecchio, mother Assunta Gucciardo. It's possible they married in Malta(Malta is very close to Agrigento.)I'm sorry I couldn't help more,I'd more than love to add more to my Family Tree!
One other thing that may help-there are MANY Attards and Attardos in Aragona, and in Porto Empedocle,AND many Parisi's,you may want to look into it since it's so close to Malta, where my Attardo's originally came from.Good Luck!
