Brian,
I apologize for taking so long to get back to you. I've been trying to find more information regarding the Parisi family to help us decifer whether or not there is a connection. I am 24 years old...just thought you should know so then we can know if we have the same grandmother or if my grandmother is your great grandmother. My grandmother is Rosa (Rosa) Parisi, and is currently residing in Detroit, MI. She was married to Salvatore Lico who died in 1980. They have six children (Francesca, Thomaso, Damiano, Rosemary, Vincenzo, and Joseph), one of whom died in 1993. My grandma's parents were Rosa and Damiano Parisi and they came from Terrasini, Sicily in ~1896. I believe Damiano was born in 1869 and Rosa was born in 1873. They had eight children (Rose, Maggie, Grace, Leona, Leena, Jim, Phillip, and a second Rose-my grandma). Rose and Phillip died very young. My great great grandparents on my great grandma's side were Margaret (?) and Phillip Zerilli. My great great grandparents on my great grandpa's side were Rose and Vincenzo Parisi. I believe my great great grandma had some brothers whose names were Joseph, Salvatore (Sam) Phillip, and Damiano.

I know that's an awful lot of information to give you, and I'm terribly sorry for that =P I don't know if any of it sounds familiar to you or not. It's really hard to tell....especially since we Italians tend to consistently use the same names over and over again/ Vincenzo and Damiano are extremely popular names, which makes it hard =P But, please let me know if any of this is familiar to you, or if you have anything to add that might help us decide if there's a link. It's very important for me to unravel my past, and I'm hoping there's somebody out there that can do that. Thanks a lot....I hope to hear from you soon =)

Sincerely,
Julie =)
