My grandfather was Vincenzo Raphael Parisi (a.k.a. Jim Parish ) He was born in the area known as "Abruzzi" in the town of Carivilli. He had two brothers who came to America with him: My uncle Sam (Santino) and Stephano. I'm told that Stephano died in the war, possibly WWI. (I'm not sure). My grandfather married Philomena Berardi (a.k.a. Fanny Brady) Vincenzo Raphael Parisi died in the early 1970's and is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland Ohio. He is buried under the name of James R. Parish. He was a wonderful grandfather and a truly great cabinet maker in his life time. He left many relatives back in Carovilli YOU MAY BE ONE OF THEM !!! please contact me. I can be reached by mail; Frank A. Parisi 1941 East 120th street, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 or by E-mail FAP44106@yahoo.com or my telephone number is ( 216 ) 791 - 2846
