It's been a long time! I hope you and your family are doing well. I had a family tree that my father had done going back to France in the 1700s but one of the missing pieces is my grandparents (Mary Mac and Fred Sr.). Also I did not have any details on their B-days etc. My Dad didn't really keep any of that stuff and Aunt Virginia died before I could get anything. She said that Fred Sr. was orphaned and came to the states as a child but could not spell his name. Supposedly the immigration folks phonetically spelled it as Paranto. Mark Devlin, her son, doesn't respond to calls etc.so I don't know if he has anything on the family history.
Somehow Fred Sr. is tied to Joseph Parenteau. He seems to be one of the first immigrants to CAN/US.
If you want a copy of what I have I can dig it up and send it re-typed or copy it into a PDF.
I am trying to fill in the blanks for my kids who are now 17 & 19.
Lets keep in touch
