Norbert Parent, Alphonse's father, was born in St Narcisse,Champlain county,Province of Quebc, Canada, on September 10, 1871. He moved to Michigan around 1890. He married Permilia St Arnaud, at Iron Mountain, MI, on September 3, 1899. Permilia St Arnaud (François-Xavier St-Arnaud and Philomène Nobert) , was born on March 18,1880, Ste-Geneviève de Batiscan, Province of Quebec. In USA, Norbert changed his name to Albert. In 1920 census, he was living in Williamstown township, Mayville City, Dodge county, WI. Are those Parent related to those in North Dakota ? I can't answer to his question.
