Hello,
I just noticed your post and thought I would try to share a little bit of my own information on the matter. Most of my information comes from the World Family Tree (Volume 51, Tree 1998), which in turn, I believe, comes from a highly respected genealogist in the Pardue lines, Thomas Pardue.
My information concurs with yours up to the point of Sarah’s husband.I do not have a Lilliston listed as Sarah’s husband, but rather a Richard Pardue.Other children I have listed for Richard and Sarah are: Leroy Pardue (b. Abt. 1775); Orren Garlin Pardue (b. Abt. 1785); Howell Gregory Pardue (b.October 21, 1790); and Jarrett Pardue (b. April 18, 1798).
That’s what I have for Mary Lucinda’s parents. Now the confusion comes in because Richard’s brother, Lilliston, ALSO married a woman named Sarah, a Sarah West. They had the two children you speak of, Fields and Elizabeth.I also have Lilliston as marrying an Elizabeth Spiers.
I would be interested to see some of your research on the Oliver side down if you get the chance.
Best regards,
Kenneth Pardue
