Researching information on Augustus. He may have also gone by the name of George. Born in Dobson, Surry, NC abt 1895. Married Lillie Herrin of Sommerset, Pulaski, KY aound 1910 possibly in MT. Served in Army in WW1 with Expeditionary forces in France; possibly enlisting through Colorado. Would like to know what happened to him following the war, where he went, did he remarry (lillie died of influenza in 1918 while he was overseas). Would especially like to know who his parents were and of other siblings. Have found a line of Silas Pardew and ____ Cockerham but now sure if this is correct line although there was a child Avery born around the same time. Would appreciate any and all help.
