My g-g-grandfather was Eleazer Smith born 19 Jul 1797 VT the census records for him say his father was born in MA. The word handed down in the family say he was of some indian blood, Cherokee. I'm trying to find out if his parents were Thomas Smith and Elizabeth Parcher. Elizabeth was the daughter of Timothy Kearl Parcher b 1746 in ME and Temperance Moody. Would you have any information on this Parcher or Smith family?
Any help will be appreciated.
