Aug 08, 1879 in Grover Hill, OH; m. Nov 10, 1896 in Henry County, Ohio, Dora J. Parcher; b. Aug 1879 in Napoleon Corporation, OH. She was the daughter of James Parcher; b. about 1852 in Ohio and Adelia; b. about 1857 in OH. James and his family were found living in Napoleon Corporation, Henry County, OH during the 1880 census. At that time he was working in a brickyard. During the 1900 census, Charles and his family were living in Monroe Twp, Putnam County, OH and he was working as a printer. In 1910, his family is on Ash Street in Continental, Monroe Twp, Putnam County. When he filed his WWI draft registration card, he was residing in Continental, and working as a printer for J. A. Vancil. At that time, Charles was described as having a medium build, blue eyes and brown hair. In 1920, his family is still in Continental. Children of Charles Melvin and Dora J.
