According to an article on the occasion of her 80 birthday, Roxavannah C. Briggs was born 24 Jul 1800 in CT. The Forum in Liberty OH on Jul 28, 1880 is when the article ran in the paper.
She stated that she and her parents moved to Chenango CO. NY and at the age of 15, or in 1815, she was united in the holy bonds of Matrimony to Simon Parcher. About this time her father died and her mother remarried with Mr. (Calvin) Alvin Stone. .... Mr. Parcher died in 1834 and in 1836 she remarried with Mr. Robert Kirkland who is now in his 77th year, both enjoying good health. ....
