My 4xgreat grandfather David Parcell was born in Pembrokeshire c.1800 but where I do not know. His father was also a David and he was a gardener according to the information on his son's marriage certificate. 4xgrtgrandfather David moved to Carmarthen, certainly by the birth of his first child Elizabeth in 1825. He had a ropemaking and beer retailing business there. He married twice and had six children by his first wife Naomi - Elizabeth, Mary, William, Ann, Margaret and Elinor. He remarried a widow in 1859 but don't think there were any children of this marriage.
