Joseph Green Paramore was listed on the 1850 Pitt County, NC Census. He was born ca 1817. His old house use to be about 1/2 mile from me.
I have been contacted by a friend inquiring about the origin of the Paramore family. Her granddaughter is doing a school project and must answer the question of where they came from. Was it England, Scotland? I saw where some lived on the border between the two.
