I am sorry to disappoint you but you do not descend from Nicolas Paquin . Your real familiy name ist Botquin dit St-Andre.

Amable Paquin m. Marie Charron in St Mathias de Rouville and he is said to be son of Jacques and Marie Brouillet. For years a have searched Jacques Paquin and Marie Brouillet and finaly I found Jacques Botquin and Marie Brouillet in Chambly.
What happend ? Why did they changed surname ?
I just don't know.
