I have some information from a newspaper,The Wisconsin Register dated 26 Dec 1896 about a man named ____ PAQUETTE who was first buried under a log Catholic church on what was(1896)Adams street in Shullsburg,Lafayette County, WI prior to 1840. A child named Michael J. BRISBOIS was buried beside him. The church had been built by Paquette. After the church was burned about 1840 his remains were removed a little east in the lot just back of the old Presbyterian church (the Baptist church in 1896).

Paquette's father-in-law was said to be Jos. _____relie

Hope this information will be of help.
