My email address is

In both our researches, we came up with a family named Sweringen (variant spellings).
There was also a Thomas Sweringen who was a lawyer for Nathaniel Bibby. He was son of Edmond Bibby, Jr. of Accomack Co. VA.
Also, a Sweringen family moved to Edgecombe Co., NC which later became Halifax, Bute, Franklin.
The Bibby, Pinnell (variant spellings), and Colberts have lived in Franklin Co,
NC since the mid-1700's and still live there.
