I had english Pennells (spelled many ways) who immigrated to Canada in 1871. They were from Middlesex and Kent and when they arrived in Canada, lived in Hamilton, Wentworth for the rest of their lives.

Do you know where in Ontario yours were and do you have a name back that far?

Mine that came to Canada were William and Mary Ann, with sons William, John, Arthur, Charles (mine), Alfred, and Henry. Do any ot these sound familiar?

In England I have Thomas, father of William, who was born in 1894 in Hammersmith to Charles Pinnell and wife Mary.

I hope some of this ties to what you have.
