Sara I have been reading your postings with interest.
Do you have anything on a Elizabeth Roden(born ca 1818) who married a W Pannell-SC? I am researching the Pannell/Roden line.
I have a Littleton and Andrew Pannell in the 1820 SC census. On the Monroe Co, TN 1830--Littleton Pannell-right next door to a Ben and Nancy (Gray) Arp. 1840-2 houses down--Sara Pannell. Then we have a Sarah Roden married Ben Arp in 1845(confirmed) Roden was her maiden name. In a civil war record--one of Sarah and Littleton Pannell states that his mother was a Roden and his father a Pannell(not married) I have seen where Littleton's death ca 1840-buried in SC. This falls in line with what I have. I was wondering what the connection is between Andrew and Littleton Pannell. Also looking for Sarah Roden born 1810-SC parents are. Still need to confirm where Littleton Pannell is buried. Most of what I have has been researched and is documented by a genealogist in TN.
ALso found a Littleton Pannell in MS-born ca-1835.(1880 census) I think this is our John Roden/Pannell using his fathers name. (same birth year)(Also used a lot of last names)I know the Dove family is connected someway. Dove and Marion is handed down in the family. Any info that you can provide--will be appreciated. I can then have it confirmed and documented
