John Pankey & desc of Manakintown, VA
Have a 548 pgbook entitled John Pankey & desc of Mankintown, Va.Our Faure/Fore line were also Huguenots and are listed in the book. It does say at the beginning that the list of immigrants to Manakintown does not include name Pankey but does include the similar French name Panetier. In early 1740s Stephen and John Pankey appeared on records, and the Panetie names began to disappear.
Another place the name is spelled Pankee. Will do lookups as it is indexed.
