Correction: The William Pangburn described in previous message was shown to "have died young". This has turned out to be just the opposite. It was Maria's sister Mary Ellen's father that "died young". (He probably being John/James Costello) in WA. TERR. Mary Ellen being born April 10, 1874. Amanda Pangburn married John in 1875. She then married Smith (Jennie was born in 1883) and she divorced Smith at that time. Smith was a well known bulldogger. She then married Brown and somtime around 1900 married A. J. Pierce. Amanda died in Corvallis, Oregon in 1921.
