Dan,

Lydia's sister, Maria(h) married my GG Benj. Howe in the Schenectady area in 1800. The baptisms of 2 of their sons are recorded at the Helderbergh DRC. In 1799, my GG Benj. rented land 3 miles S. of the Helderbergh DRC & adjacent to Maria's 1st cousin, Richard Pangburn.

In 1790, my GGG (also) Benj. Howe was 2 pgs. removed from John McDonald & 3 from Edmond Pangburn. The 1790 (Watervliet), 1800 (Unknown Twnshps.) & 1810 (3rd Ward, Schenectady) censuses all refer to the same present-day Guilderland area south of Schenectady city. This area was also known as the Helderbergh (DRC church & geological escarpment). There were many related Pangburns in that area & many McDonalds are buried in adjacent Princetown.
