Tony: When doing your research on the Panetta families, please keep in mind my grandmother who born (I think)in Siderno and it would have been in the 1870's as my father was born in 1890. Her name was Carmela Panetta and was a Contessa, she had five sons Orazio (killed in the Ethopian War in the 1930's, Benvenuto a Carabinieri, Zio llario, and Francesco. The father was Giuseppe Pezzaniti of San Nicola di Caulonia, Calabria. Carmela may have been a relative of yours. Think about it!!! My father was llario Vincenzo Antonio Pezzaniti and came to the USA in 1910 and never returned to Italy. Seeya Gerry
