Our first known relative to the Americas was Adam Pfannkuch(en) from Prussia, Germany. He went from PA, MO, AR - enlisted in Civil War and fought at Pea Ridge, AR then to Dalton, GA where he married Susan Carrington first and Agnes Rolston, second. Adam and Susan's daughter Aloo Mae Pfannekuch was the mother of my grandfather Ira Franklin LaRoe. She married James William Laroe and both are buried in Stone Co., AR.

Could your Johann be related to Adam or to Henry which is another line of the same name?

Thanks, Betty
