Your grandfather, George Pancake, is probably the son of William Pancake and Jennie Cline of Iroquois County, Illinois. Here is what I have on this George's ancestry:



1.       George PANCAKE, born 1909 in Illinois.

2.       William A. PANCAKE, born 19 Jul 1870 in Iroquois County, Illinois, died 16 Sep 1945 in Watseka, Iroquois County, Illinois. He married Jennie CLINE, 16 Mar 1908 in Watseka, Iroquois County, Illinois, divorced 1 May 1924, Iroquois County, Illinois.

3.       Jennie CLINE, born about 1873 in Ohio.

Grand Parents

4.       George PANCAKE, born Feb 1841 in Illinois. He married Pheoby REEVE, 31 Oct 1869 in Iroquois County, Illinois.

5.       Pheoby REEVE or REEVES, born Feb 1843 in Indiana, died 2 Jun 1930 in Milford, Iroquois County, Illinois.

Great Grand Parents

8.       William PANCAKE, born 1800-1810, of Pike County, Ohio. He married Prudence HARNESS, 13 Jan 1829 in Ross County, Ohio, divorced Jun 1845, Iroquois County, Illinois.

9.       Prudence HARNESS, born 30 Dec 1808 in Ohio, died 26 Feb 1882, buried: in Old Milford/Pioneer Cem., Iroquois Co., Illinois. (Date of birth computed from age at death on gravestone).

33.       Catharine DRUB, died 1799 in Hardy County, Virginia.

34.       Frederick Michael SEE. He married Barbara Rebecca HARNESS.

35.       Barbara Rebecca HARNESS.

4th Great Grand Parents

64.       Jost PANNEKUCH, born about 1700 in Germany?, died after 1760. He married Maria Agnes GODTSCHALK. Resided in Franconia Twp., Philadelphia/Montgomery County, Pennsylvani.

65.       Maria Agnes GODTSCHALK.

66.       Christopher DRUB. Referred to as "of Birkenson" in daugher Catharine's marriage record. He married Unknown.

67.       Unknown.

5th Great Grand Parents

130.       Fredrick GODTSCHALK, died 1748 in Philadelphia/Montgomery Co., PA. He married Ann Mary ______.
