The Descendants of Johann Peter Pfannkuchen : Generations of Pancakes Forward

Johann Peter Pfannkuchen is the most distant ancestor in our line. His son Johann George Pfannkuchen became George Pancake. George's son William Pancake settled in Columbiana County Ohio and became the father of Samuel C. Pancake of Coshocton County, Ohio. Their daughter Edith Glendora became the wife of Henry Reynolds Watrous who were great great grandparents to our living children.

I would be happy to share our researched chronology with anyone descending from these common ancestors and hope that I might find someone with additional information about the wife of Johann George Pfannkuchen (George Pancake) whose name was believed to be Anna.

If you are descended from any of the three known children of William Pancake, I have some information about all lines. They were Jane Pancake to William Thompson, Samuel C. Pancake to Catharine Darling and William Pancake Junior to Maria Wilmot Gallagher. All primarily of Ohio except the descendants of Samuel who migrated to Utah, Kansas and California. The descendants of William Pancake Junior stayed primarily in Ohio. The descendants of Jane Pancake and William Thompson migrated to Colorado and California.
